Karu held his head low, covered in the hood of a long black cloak he wore about his body. It was raining, and he was new to Traverse Town. It seemed like the most logical place for him to begin his search. His homeworld was being ravaged by the Heartless, and only the strong arms and hearts of his fellow Saerins kept the world alive. True, he and his kin were in essence, just human. However, underneath the human body and DNA, they all held spirits that shined with the power of gods. Every Saerin had a purpose on that world, and each one was important.
Saerin was a culture. It was Karu's culture. And he would not let it slip into the darkness in the face of heart eating monsters. He vowed to find the source of the evil that plagued his world. He even consulted with the god Aladriel, Master of Destruction and lord over Nathroxis, to determine if it was his doing. Karu should have know better though. Aladriel, though the Master of Destruction, was not evil. He was merely the other half to Galail, Lord of Creation. They did not see eye to eye, but neither claimed to be good or evil. In the Saerin life, there was no good and evil. Love and Greed were the opposing factors of life.
"Greed..." He said under his breath and within his cloak, he grasped hard at the handle of his runed katana, Atheros. The rain pelted his cloak as he thought about the creatures. They knew no love and acted only in greed. And he knew they would be the death of his world if he did not act. Looking around, Karu tried to find someone who could give him answers. But still, they all looked just as uninformed as he did.

Name: Zach equipped accessory's: ribbon Equipped items: none equipped weapon: Angels oath keyblade level:1 mp per battle: 14
Zach walked through the town, his hood was up, and his collar reached up nearly to his nose, covering his mouth. He was wearing a tan colored outfit, that was like a robe. He was hoping she could be here, but it didn't seem like it. The place wasn't that big, but the reason he checked this place out, was that he heard that some survives from worlds that had been engulfed in heartless come here. But, he had a feeling she wouldn't be here, it wasn't the same way.
How could there be so little information about these things...just how. They were everywhere, no place was safe anymore. Zach reached into his pocket, and pulled out a picture of her. He stared at it and sighed, then put it back. He has shown this to everyone he saw, and no one had ever seen her before. Zach was separated from her when those things attacked. He had to watch the horror of everyone he knew..being attacked, without being able to save them. It wasn't even because of him she was safe, only this thing..which he knew nothing about.
He then continued walking down the streets. Not many people were out right now, it was raining outside. It was odd really, why did people stay inside just because of water? People would change there whole day plan just because of a small drizzle.. After a bit of walking, he saw a man, who had a long black cloak on. He had not asked the person yet, so he took the picture out. He confronted the person. "Have you seen this girl?" He doubted he would have seen her, but he would ask the whole universe if he had to. She was the one thing left, and she just had to be okay.

Name: Karu Equipped Accessories: None Equipped Items: None Equipped Weapons: Rune Blade, Atheros Level: 1 MP: 12
Karu kept his eyes open under his hood, his vision carefully intaking all of his surroundings. Of the few people who were left outside, then seemed to be in a hurry to get inside. All except for one person he saw across the district behind him. A young man in a hood and rather noticable clothing. Karu ignored it though, and wouldn't get too worried unless the man posed to be a threat. But he couldn't shake the feeling that this man was having problems of his own.
Karu didn't have the time to deal with it though. His world was at stake and he wasn't in the position to go offering his help to everyone with a story. He tugged his cloak tighter around his body, and let his hand drop down to the sword as his side when he heard the other mans footsteps. He was coming closer. Karu turned around and saw the man come up with the picture of the girl in his hand, almost a bit too forward but he guessed the man was just desperate.
"I'm sorry. I've never seen her." He said, looking back over his shoulder for someone else, but didn't see anyone. He turned back to face the man who approached him. "Do you know what the black creatures are?" He asked, dropping his hood back and revealing his long blue hair. "My home land was just attacked... I need to find out how to stop them"

He was disappointed that he had not seen her. He did fortunately know about what he was asking about. "All I know, is that there these things called Heartless, led by someone called Ansem, who is supposedly the king of darkness." "They are ones who've had there heart taken, and are pure evil." He would of asked him about the weapon he had, if he knew about it, but...if he didn't know about the heartless, he would not know about this thing. Zach also pulled his hood back, revealing his blond hair, and part of his face. The rain didn't really bother him much, it wasn't raining that heavily anyway. "I'm sorry it isn't much, but its all I know." Zach decided it wouldnt hurt to ask, so he made his keyblade appear. "Have you ever seen one of these, I have no idea what its for." The way he held it wasnt threatening, he had no intention of attacking the guy.

"Heartless..." Karu said to himself and thought. It made sense with the way Zach described them. He didn't like the term "evil" though. It never made sense to him, or any Saerin. Good and Evil aren't real, just merely one persons perspective on anothers actions. Something one person may believe is an evil act, the one who performed said act would have intentions in mind that they deem good. It all came down to Love and Greed for a Saerin. Those were the two opposing forces in the work, and the Heartless were subject to greed. That idea was fueled even more by the very nature of their name and existance. Those without hearts, without love.
He did however know it wasn't his place to criticize anothers beliefs. He wouldn't want anyone to criticize his own either. In that respect, he usually kept the Saerin beliefs to himself and other Saerins, unless someone asked about it. Karu relaxed a bit, believing the man wasn't to cause him any harm. He let god of the cloak and it fell back around his body, revealing his very loose fitting pants and the fact he didn't even wear a shirt. However, most of his abdomen was covered in belts and at the left side of his body, a katana hung which appeared to be as normal as they come, since while in the sheath the runes were not visible.
His eyes widened for a moment as Zach summoned the strange weapon into his hand. Karu could hardly believe that such a thick, nearly bladeless weapon could be any good except for beating things bluntly. But it was obviously something more important. He didn't know what though, so he couldn't help at all. "Nothing on my world is at all like it. It doesn't quite seem like it would have a great deal of effectiveness. If it did, I'm sure we would have something like it."

Zach wasn't going to remove his cloak, it was kind of part of the outfit. <-- (ooc: see)"Ya, I know what you mean. It doesn't look like much, but I quickly learned otherwise. He turned eying the town, as if he was looking for something. He then saw something of interest, and walked over, then suddenly increased his speed. He struck a thick tree, and it was cut in half with ease, despite the thing lacking sharpness. He turned as it hit the ground. "See what I mean?" "I think it has some sort of magic in it." He wasn't 100 percent positive, but he was near that. In some attacks, the thing would actually glow. He walked back over, making it disappear. it was barely raining anymore, a few people were starting to come outside, some were wondering how a tree fell over when it was only raining. The few who who did see it didn't say anything, they didn't really feel like tattling on someone who just cut a tree in half in one strike. Of course though Zach wasnt that kind of person. The kind to just go and beat people up. Sure he loved fighting, but he hated hurting people, he would only spar. Something was rather odd about this place. Why was this district free of heartless, but the others had heartless everywhere. It didn't make sense, if they were seeking hearts, why didn't they come here, this was where everyone was at. Were they afraid of something, or was there another reason why they wernt attracted to this place? Well, whatever the reason, it must of been a good one. He had to get going now, she wasnt here, she couldnt of been here. "I must be going now, see ya." His keyblade appeared and he stabbed it into the ground, warping out of the world. left topic exp gained: 300 Reason for leaving: topic has gone inactive
