[[Name: Z'kani Items: none Accessories: none Weapon: K'Athernosias Amarsi (black bladed sword) level: 1 mp per battle: 12]]
A blur of black fell out of the sky, pulling up mere inches from the ground and driving a sword with a black blade through any heartless in its path. Once clear of the heartless crowd, it lifted clear with a single wing beat, turning around to face the heartless, ignoring the ones dissolving around the sword. "Mind if I join in?" Z'kani asked the two fighting the heartless, before swooping down for another fly-by attack anyway, not bothering to wait for an answer. After this attack, she landed on the outskirts of the mini-battle and started slicing away at the nearest enemies, taking out just as many with her wings as she did with her sword.

From the shadows, a fourth man appeared. He quickly pulled out his blade as he stared at the others. He watched as they fought the Heartless. Guessing he was able to join, he jumped down to the battlefield.
"May I join in?" he said as he sliced at a group of Heartless coming his way. They seemed to jump in his direction, but with a simple slash, they were gone. "I'll take that as a yes," he said to himself before actually joining the fight.
He jumped high in the air, as if he was dodging an attack from below. As he moved forward in the air, he threw his sword down atop several Heartless and destroyed all those he was aiming for in one strike. He landed on his two feet perfectly, pulling his sword out of the ground as he walked forward. As he continued battling, he paid close attention to the one that seemed to be in form the beginning of the attack.
The Heartless seemed to still be appearing as the others faded away. No one but him noticed this it seemed.

Ghost shouldered his blade, as the Heartless seemed to just diverge away from him. He was, after all, one of them. He slowly tapped the blade on his shoulder, watching as the two other people joined. It would be a slight problem, but not too bad. He swung his blade around in front of him, plunging the blade deep into the ground. Ghost kicked his leg onto the gaurd handle and launched off in the direction of Zack. He grabbed a bit of his shirt as he spiraled past, turning in the air to throw him, sending him forcefully crashing into a boulder. Ghost landed in a skid, and started to backflip. Next target. He backflipped behind Arata, grabbing at the back of his shirt. Ghost's hold affirmed, he frontflipped and sent Arata spiraling the same way as Zack, causing both of them to crash together. Ghost placed his hand onto the bony spine, where his neck would have been, had he had one. Last target. His bony legs creaked as he launched into action. He came in low, launching through the heartless below the remaining fighter's line of sight. She was in the middle of a slash when he sprung up. He tucked his limbs into his side, corckscrewing through the open space of her wings. Ghost shifted his arm, spinning to stand directly behind the girl. Catching her at the wing joints with his bony hands, he backflipped, sending her over to the rock as well. He followed after, backflipping over and over. Ghost's final flip sent him high into the air, landing in front of the other three. The Heartless, of course, swarmed towards them. Shadows and Neoshadows... Some soldiers... A few other scattered types. Ghost noted them all. The discharge of energy would have to be big. Luckily, Ghost was suited for this perfectly. He thingyed his right hand out, the bones of his fingers curling together, as if he were grasping an orb. Dark and light energy crackled between the bones like lightning, coursing over his body to his hand. An orb of light and dark energy grew into existance. And it grew fast. Soon it was half the size of Ghost. It grew until it was almost as large as it's creator, and then stopped. One shot, that's all he'd have. Ghost swung his arm forward, carrying the devestating Havoc Bolt with his swing. It hovered in front of him before he loosed the devestating orb, sending it flying into the crowd of Heartless. The orb crashed through them, not stopping though it hit Heartless after Heartless. It simply melted through them. The Havoc bolt continued on through the crowd, disintegrating whole Heartless as well as parts of them. The bolt spiraled through the air, the energy lighting the ground beneath it afire. Soon, it spiraled out of the other side of the crowd of Heartless, and Ghost clenched his bony fingers together, the orb dissipating after. Ghost stood up normally, eyeing the destruction. Most of the Heartless were gone. The remaining one's were mutilated, disintegrating as he watched... Neoshadow! He spun his leg up and caught the lunging Neoshadow where it's jaw should have been, sending it flying backwards through the air. So, they weren't all gone after all. Ghost quickly sprinted to where the his sword rested in the ground. He dropped down and skidded, much like a baseball player. He skid past his sword, catching the hilt and sliding on at the same time. He thingyed his heel into the ground and jumped up, sliceing the blade through a tiny Shadow as he did. Ghost twisted around, his sword at the ready, looking towards the other three and watching for any more Heartless that survived his Havoc Bolt.

Zach shoved his keyblade into the ground after he was thrown. At first he thought he was being attacked by a supposed ally, but then he realized that he was merely gathering the heartless up to try and blast them all at once. It didnt work, there will still more. "If every world has this many heartless, then there must be so many people who have lost there heart." Zach begain to fight the heartless again, his keyblade making the sound of magic going through a heartless. Zach wondered, how, were these things made, how did this all start. He wanted to know. He couldnt think about this now, he would get distracted. He begain to focus more on fighting, he had plenty of time to think about all of this later, for now, it was heartless slaying time. Zach jumped and spun while turning in midair, his keyblade hitting a heartless into the ground at an angle. The keyblade dissiapered as he pushed off the ground with his hands, just as heartless lunged toward there. This was the perfect moment to strike. He threw the keyblade down, it went through 3, and stuck into the ground. Zach landed on it, then jumped up, pulling it out, and backflipped, landing on another one. It was then in the distance, that he saw a unique heartless from a distance, that stood out of battle and seemed to be spawning more heartless. "Over there, i think hes making them appear!"

Z'kani, who had been wondering if it was worth trying to kill the animated skeleton, abandoned her thoughts to look over in the direction Zach had indicated. She twirled her sword round so that the tip of the blade faced behind her, sliding it home into it's scabbard, before bracing herself against the rock and kicking off, throwing herself into the air and heading toward the strange heartless, keeping half her attention on the remaining heartless and her apparent allies, the other half on studying the new threat and seeing if she could find a weakness from observation, and the tiny bit of knowledge on heartless in general she already knew. Just as she was clearing the thick of the heartless that one shadow jumped at her, aiming to block her path, but ending up hanging off one of Z'kani's wings. The light but sudden weight distracted her, making her fall a little closer to the ground. The other nearby heartless seemed to take this as a cue to copy the shadow still clinging on and trying to claw the wing at the same time. Z'kani found herself swamped with shadows, weighing her down and dragging her to the ground. She was faintly aware of her sword being knocked or pulled out of it's sheath, and she started swearing in her own language, lashing out with wing, fist and foot. By now, she was understandably mad. Her short temper gave way entirely and she unleashed a spell with a foul curse; "Caere su!" She spat, as a dark haze spread from her wing sites, drifting away from her body and into the mass of heartless. Once it was all away from her, and hung in the air an inch or two above the ground, she sent out a sharp thought, 'Skoteimos Pyrkagia!' The haze burst into deep purple-red flames, setting the heartless alight, and swiftly expanding away from the source in a ring of fire, burning everything it touched until it reached a diameter of about twelve metres, at which point it seemed to collapse in on itself, leaving no trace except clouds of destroyed heartless. Still whispering obscenities under her breath, Z'kani turned back to the source of the heartless problem and started running toward it, taking to the air again after a few yards. She was definitely not in the best of moods anymore.

As he battled the Heartless, he noticed the same unique Heartless and started over for it. It seemed to be just watching as the others battled. A few feet away were a group of Neoshadows that ran towards him. As he jumped up in the air, the Heartless did too.
"Take that!" he yelled as he spun in a complete circle, destroying the Heartless. Again, he landed on two feet. He started again at the unique Heartless, but seemed to stop as a pool of darkness appeared below him. It pulling him in, but a Heartless came out, one that looked just like him. It ran away and the pool was fading. He stood silently, wondering what was going on. Ignoring the fact, he continued at the Heartless leader.

Ghost crouched down, a Neoshadow spiraling over his head. He stood up again and shouldered his blade. They seemed to know he was a threat now. He stepped to the side and a Darkball careened through the air, snapping at him, but still missing. Ghost shook his bony head and started to run towards the rock where he had thrown everyone. Reaching it, he vaulted himself into the air and landed on it, spinning around and crouching. He surveyed the fight, and waited.

Zach continued to run toward the heartless, slashing through all the annoying, heartless. A new thought popped into his head. He realized, that there were so many different kinds of heartless. How is it determined which one you become when you lose your heart? He wanted to know, he had so many questions, but so few answers. He didn't even know where to start looking for this king of darkness called Ansem. Was he a person, or was he one of these things? If he was, he must be different, these things had no intelligence, and certainly couldn't plan anything that well, I mean the dude spawning these guys was right easily in seeing distance. He was near striking distance of what appeared to be the leader of these heartless. After striking down the final neoshadow in his path, he threw his keyblade to do the cross boomerang attack. The heartless jumped to the side, avoiding the attack, it came around though, and nailed him in the side.

Z'kani tore past the pair, sword flashing out to strike the heartless in the side, but it dodged, moving aside to face Z'kani as she wheeled round tightly and hovered in the air mere centimetres from the ground. She studied it closely, taking in each little detail and comparing it to the other heartless she'd encountered. It was different, although appearence wise, not by much. It was probably much stronger though, since it had been spawning all the regular heartless. She tapped down to the earth quietly, twirling her sword 360 degrees between her fingers and bringing it up into a loose guard stance, feet planted a bit apart, one in front of the other to keep her balance steady if it came down to a sword fight, her wings curved around her like a half-shield, eyes sharp and still looking rather ticked-off. 'Caerin heartless...ready to die?' She thought.

ooc= Ive gotten a question about the appearence of the heartless, and I was thinking of this: Without the sheild, smaller hands, smaller upper body, and longer legs. and instead its holding 2 big swords, and is agile. Finnally, its also black tinted instead of blue, and has 2 large wings that enable flight. If anyone disagrees then speak up.

OOC: looks fine to me - I'm not bothered as to what it looks like, as long as I know what I'm meant to be attacking XDD

He suddenly stopped as he felt a presence appear upon the battlefield. He looked up at the mountain and noticed a cloaked man. It appeared to be the Organization again, but it wasn't. the mysterious figure grew one large wing from his back. He then flew away.
Unaware of his surroundings at the time, a few Neoshadows jumped towards him and struck at him. He quickly reacted and swung his blade, destroying them all. He looked up as a black feather fell in front of him. Sephiroth? he thought as he made the connection. I thought he was dead... He slowly looked back up and regained focus to attack the leading Heartless.
OOC=Fine by me.

Ghost stood on the rock, simply watching the fight. His blade was stabbed down into the rock, and his arms were crossed. He slowly began to tap a bony foot on the rock, almost impatiently. One of his bony hands went out and grabbed his blade, hoisting it up to his shoulder. A distant memory... Something... Powerful. Then he remembered. He shuddered suddenly. If he had lips, they would be curling into a smile. He looked down at the blade and traced his hand along the orange seal. Slowly, starting at the base, fire sprung up the blade. The flame curled around the blade, washing against Ghost's bony finger. He pulled his hand back and held the sword out to his side as the flame fully engulfed the blade. His bony fingers twirled and the blade spun between them, an arc of fire following it's spin. Ghost turned and hurled the blade up, high into the air. It spun there, glowing radiently in the sky as the fire completly engulfed it. Ghost sprang down off the rock and landed in a crouch, launching himself towards the lead heartless. As he launched towards it, it reared it's menacing head and brought a blade up, slicing it downwards. Ghost spiraled to the side, the blade missing him and sticking into the ground. He launched out of his spiral and landed on the Heartless's shoulder, running towards it's head. He grabbed onto the spike on the top of it's head and spun around it, swinging about to kick it in the face. The careening force caused the Heartless to wave it's blades about wildly, before falling over unceramoniously on it's ass. Ghost kicked off of the Heartless's face, jumping up into the air to grab his flaming blade as it descended. He flew down through the air at the defensless heartless, raising his sword above his head. He swung it as he passed the heartless, the arc of fire that followed the blade showing that it sliced through the shoulder. The cut materialized, and the Heartless's arm began to fall away from it's body. Ghost threw his sword up again and jumped over to the Heartless's hand. Standing on it's disintegrating wrist, he wretched the massive blade out and held it above his head. He turned and ran at the Heartless, plunging the blade into it's chest all the way up to the hand gaurd. The Heartless flaield about, but Ghost was too close for it's large unwieldly blade to hit. Ghost looked over his shoulder at the Heartless's blade. He waited for a moment, and then broke his grip from around the Heartless's other sword. He jumped back and then backflipped through the air, spinning over the blade. He skidded to a halt out of distance of the Heartless, raising his bony face to look up. He crouched back and launched forward, high into the air. He grabbed his blade and the fire sprang around it, growing massive, flicking through the air. Ghost turned in the air, spinning. If he were on the ground, he would be rolling on his side. The fire on the blade grew ever larger, and Ghost spiraled through the air towards the Heartless. The Heartless brought it's large blade up, attempting to block Ghost's assault. Their blades connected and held against eachother for a moment, before the Heartless's blade simply melted away. Ghost righted his descent, so it would be as if he were standing, and descended through the air, plunging the flaming blade through the Heartless's face. The force of gravity dragged him down, and he held to the blade, effectivly cutting the Heartless in half. As his bony toes touched the ground, he pulled the blade away and stood, holding it out to his side. A low growl filled the air, barely shaping words: Heavenly sword... Fafnir's Fang. The Heartless burst into flames behind him, as the fire on the blade slowly began to dim. Ghost propped the blade up onto his shoulder and slowly started to walk away from the disintegrating husk. He moved his bony head about, to watch for the other fighters as he walked.

His keyblade flew through the air, returning to his hand. He was impressed by the skill of the skull like creature. Almost immediately, the heartless stopped appearing. It did not take long at all for the few strays to be slayed, they disintegrated as the hearts were released into the air. Zach made his keyblade disappear, turning to face the others.
"Well, that takes care of them." "Hey, well, Ghost, do you know where this guy is at, and have you remembered his name?" There were four here, and if they all wanted to go, then we could have a chance against him. Of course though, it wouldn't help if he didn't know where he was at.
There was no point in sticking around here if he wasn't located here. Zach just had to find him, for many reasons. His friends, his family, his world, and everyone who has suffered. He would destroy him for those reasons. He has caused so much pain, and he would not get away with it. Still though, he had is doubts. If he was the King of darkness, then he must be powerful. Possibly, and probably even more powerful then he was. Now he was having doubts on what to do, if he went and got himself killed, he wouldnt be able to save her, but on the other hand if he went and succeded, this all would end.
"One last thing." He reached into his pocket and took out a picture of a girl. "Have any of you seen her?"

Z'kani gave the picture a glance, then shook her head slowly. She seemed a bit pensive. "Not me. I've not been here long, though." She said thoughtfully, slipping her sword back into it's scabbard. Her thoughts turned back to the heartless they'd fought. 'Something to add to the report - some heartless are stronger than others by a considerable amount, and can summon other, weaker ones. Just how many heartless types are there? Not to mention the nobodies I was told about...although I haven't seen any of them yet,' After pondering over the matter, she wondered about what to do next. She unobtrusively looked at the other fighters. 'May as well stay with these for now, if they plan on sticking together for a while; I'll probably run into more heartless that way, they seem to attack strong people, unless that's just been a coincidence so far.' Her short-term, rather loose plans completed, Z'kani blinked and started paying attention again, even though she'd only been thinking for a matter of seconds.
