"Ugh.....bloody pirates!" Z'kani cursed, looking at what remained of her drink ruefully then downing it, breaking the bottle over a nearby pirate's head, then stepping forward. "If it's a fight you want, you're gonna have to give me one hell of a good reason why I shouldn't just leave right now and continue this vacation elsewhere." She said sharply, not at all impressed with the pirates timing. "And this is certainly strange; standing alongside you, Luke. We've only ever fought each other, even when it was just a 'friendly' match." She commented, too low for the pirate to hear. She then raised her voice, asking the obvious question; "Apart from a brawl, what do you want?" Then she added in an undertone so only the brothers would hear; "And if they say to see the winged angel, I will break their ruddy necks."

"Well, I doubt they're suited for a coast-to-coast voyage, but I'll bet they're sturdy enough for...a race or two, for example?" Z'kani said, grinning and stepping towards the nearest dinghy. "How about it, boys? Say...from here to the rock wall and back?" She suggested, pointing to the curve of a sheer cliff that pincered Tortuga's port, protecting it from the worst of the waves during storms, and making it quite easily defendable, if any fool were at attempt an attack. The waters in this relatively protected bay were usually still, but at present were a little choppy. Well, it should make things all the more fun.

Luke walked up to the rowing boats and then smiled at the others getting in he picked up the paddles then got ready "well it is far away that is good a long race hey z'kani i wont annoy or try to kill you for a week if you beat dark and if you beat me 2 weeks so lets get going" as the whistle started luke stared to power up his arms and sped of he noticed dark had not even started
dark decided to be clever seeing as there is no rules he picked up on of his powers then waited for z'kani to get to the middle then used his force power he quickly picked up his boat with the power and threw it flying at the other side then he used the power to pick up lukes boat and sent it flying backwards right into z'kani boat and then it sent z'kani a little back but luke was further back and behined her dark meanwhile used his force power to fly back the funny thing was he had won.

"Yo Dark, a race means you participate in it! Get a move on, lazy boy!" Z'kani chided, already plowing through the water. She had a relatively good advantage - for a start, she was leading, plus her wing muscles were extensions of her shoulder muscles, and all the flying she'd done had built up both. Plus she was about three times as strong as the strongest Olympic athlete that wasn't a demi-god. "Even without rules, that's just plain cheating!" She added, nodding to the recently-airborn boat. "Just to avoid any more lazy antics, you have to get from the pier to the rock outcrop and back again using your own boat, rowing it with your own arms. And no chopping them off and enchanting them to row at five thousand miles an hour either. So Dark, get rowing!" She glanced towards Luke, calling his name to get his attention. "It looks like we're gonna get that two-week break you promised," She teased, then put her head down and concentrated on pulling the small vessel through the waves as fast as it would go. Within a few more seconds she was drenched, the waves breaking over the edge of the boat, or just crashing over it entirely. Z'kani saw one wave she' just rode capsise Luke's boat and started to laugh, only to swallow a mouthful of sea water as the next wave tipped her upside down and into the water, boat belly-side up. Rather than waste time trying to right the boat then get in it, Z'kani rescued her oars and clambered up onto the boat, kneeling on the ribbed underside and rowing until the boat started to tip again. This time she crawled the opposite way and pulled the boat over the right way up and fell into the bottom as she did, nearly knocking herself out on the seat. Righting herself, she went back to the race with gusto, this time doing her best to avoid the swells of water rather than ride them and be overturned.
